OpenStream publishes broadband prices read from each retailer's own page, with the page linked and the date it was read.
How a price is read
Each price is read from the retailer's own plan page, first by hand on 2026-11-05, then by a daily read of the same page. The page is linked beside the plan.
A price is shown only while a read within the last 14 days confirms it. One that cannot be confirmed, or that a read finds gone, is shown without its figure.
A plan that would become the cheapest in its speed band waits for a second daily read before it leads.
Plans are ranked on the ongoing price, the one charged after any promotion. The promotion is shown beside it in the retailer's words, with its end date where the page states one.
Prices are in New Zealand dollars with GST included, as advertised. Nothing is converted from another country's prices, inferred from a plan's name or estimated.
Measured speeds are copied from the summary tables of the Commerce Commission, Measuring Broadband New Zealand Report 29, October 2026, never read off a chart.
How OpenStream is paid
No New Zealand retailer pays OpenStream. Every "Go to" link goes straight to the retailer's own page, with no tracking link, and the order of plans is set by price alone.
